HMF Express is a national leader in the manufacture of Commercial doors and frames. Our product line includes flush and embossed doors, welded and knock-down frames, and related accessories. Customers are primarily commercial wholesale distributors selling Division 8 doors and hardware.
This position requires proven customer service skills coupled with a strong technical interest in architectural doors and hardware, selling, and the business processes related to order fulfillment. The position requires in excess of 40 hours per week as needed to support business development and our 100% customer service commitment.
The big challenge in this job is mastering the industry, product, and business process knowledge you need to effectively serve customers in the industry. Typcially a sales manager candidate will take up to 2 years in various support and training roles before they can work directly with customers and prospects. During training, candidates will be paid a base salary. Candidates having relevant experience will move more quickly to a sales manager role. Most of our sales team is in Wilmington, NC, but have the option to work from Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, or Tampa. Travel is typically less than 10%.
• Detailing price quotes from customer inputs
• Writing and managing sales orders with an acute attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Executing internal order management processes
• Assisting sales managers with customer account relationships
