This position is an integral part of the Human Resources Team. We are looking for a dynamic multi-tasked individual with 5+ years of HR experience.

The primary responsibilities for this position will be: 

Oversee department procedures in accordance with internal workflow processes and compliance with state and federal regulations 

Administering employee benefit plans company-wide, including compiling and maintaining benefits records and documents

Advise employees on the interpretation of HR policies, programs and procedures

Recruits and conducts orientation for new employees

Maintain employee personnel files (including but not limited to research and fulfilling requests by authorized federal, state, and personnel)

Monitor attendance/sick policy, disciplinary notices

Strives to ensure employee understanding of benefit plans by regularly generating communication

Acts as liaison and develops effective relationships with benefit plan providers

Employee Relations support, including investigations and resolution recommendations

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, PHR/SPHR preferred

Five years HR experience required

Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations

Knowledge of state and federal USERRA regulations

Knowledge of medical disability management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Must possess strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, HRIS experience a plus

Cooperate with others and respond to change and new ideas in a positive manner

Exhibit a sound understanding of and able to stay current on all employment law

Exhibit a sound understanding of all current benefit plans and stay current on all benefits related issues

Willing to perform related assignments and interested in broadening skills

Organize work and set priorities to meet schedules and deadlines; efficient

Must be a professional representation to customers, candidates, vendors and all other outside parties
