Director of Quality Improvement (QI)

Full-time director level position available for qualified candidate to direct, manage, supervise, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor the agency's plan for quality improvement.

Provides effective direction, support, guidance and supervision to assigned staff: QI manager and Manager of Data and Administration.

Develop and maintain standards/methods to evaluate program effectiveness as outlined in grant agreements including outcomes, quality of services and client input.

Provide technical assistance to agency programs, services and administrative processes.

Understanding of Medicaid standards, licensing regulations, records management, data collection and interpretation.

Researches and compiles data in conjunction with agency audits, record reviews, needs and/or user assessments.

Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports and charts as required by grant agreements.

Coordinate investigations involving legal and personnel issues in partnership with agency attorneys and HR department. ie staff subpoena, fraud investigations.

Develop or assist in development of concepts and/or programs as required

Ensures adherence to quality standards as set forth by the agency, county, state and federal entities.

Demonstrates keen leadership in working collaboratively with internal and external committees.


Master's degree in business, public administration, social work, counseling or other related field, preferred.

Bachelors required.

Seven years of relevant work experience coupled with five years of supervisory experience, required.

Experience in COA accredited organization, desired.

Valid Ohio driver's license, proof of insurance and possession of a safe operational vehicle, a must.
